Blurry tips refers to a male hairstyle in which hair is cut short and shaped into short spikes with hair gel or hair spray. Hair is decided in such a way that the tip of each nail will be pale blond, usually in contrast to the main hair color of the wearer.
The opaque tip was very prominent throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Prominent people who wear blurry tips include Eddie Guerrero, Lance Bass, Steven Bradbury, Aaron Carter, Zac Efron, Guy Fieri, Joe Jonas, Mark McGrath and Justin Timberlake.
The hairstyle was ridiculed in the Chuck television series in the five-season episode of "Chuck versus Frosted Tips".
