Older photography , also known as antique and entertainment photography , is a new genre of photography.
Past photography allows consumers to pose as if to antique photos in costumes and props from a certain period, sometimes printed in sepia tones to provide vintage display photos.
Popular themes include Old West, Victorian era, or Roaring Twenties.
Some studios specialize in this genre, and others incise their trades at festivals and historical show events. It is a popular family activity in amusement parks and other tourist destinations, mostly in the United States. Many of these ancient photographic studios are located in historic cities that naturally attract visitors who want to experience how people lived in the past. Some of the photo booths will do sepia-colored printing for similar views.
Photographers in the genre initially used Agfa's and then Polaroid's special tools, but most moved to digital photography along with industry.
